The story so far…
Our story isn’t just about the growth of a business. It’s as much the personal journey of our founder and CEO, Allie Baglow.
Here’s a look at how we’ve grown over the years and built up our wealth of experience in financial planning.
2004
Allisons is founded and our story begins. We welcome our first clients, some of whom are still clients to this day.
2007
As our business grows, we rent office space in Rainford. The team grows too, with a new Mortgage Adviser and administrator.
2008
Just one year later, we expand again. Staying in Rainford, we move to larger premises above a well-known local estate agents.
2014
Allie finally has her name above the door as we buy our own home; The School House in Cross Pit Lane, Rainford.
2016
By this time we’re getting pretty big, with assets under management exceeding £35 million. Our founder, Allie, is a finalist in the Women in Financial Adviser Awards.
2018
Allisons becomes Directly Authorised, giving us full independence and control, and allowing us to provide an even more bespoke service to our clients.
2021
Champagne corks pop. Allie wins Entrepreneur of the Year at the St Helens Borough Business Awards.
2022
Allie drives the expansion of our services with a refreshed brand that puts our core values and purpose at the centre of everything we do.
2023
Assets under management reach £70 million and Allie is voted Top Rated Adviser through VouchedFor. We receive the Local Services award from partner charity ‘The Standing Tall Foundation’.
2024
We strengthen our partnership with The Standing Tall Foundation and become a member of the Armed Forces Covenant. We also become a member of the Good Business Charter to highlight our commitment to creating a great place to work for our staff. Allie is nominated for the Women in Financial Advice awards again.
2025
Allie is nominated for the Women in Financial Advice awards for a 3rd year. Allisons wins The Standing Tall Award for Services To The Community – a very proud moment for us. Assets under management reach £100 million!
2026
A year of significant growth and achievement for Allisons. The business moves into its new home at 105 Mere Grange, St Helens to better serve clients and support future growth. Allie named finalist for Financial Adviser of the Year (North West) in the Women in Financial Advice Awards, while assets under management reach an impressive £120 million. Our success is further reflected in the strengthening of the leadership team, with internal promotions to Chairman, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Operating Officer
